Overview

Norstar Desktop Messaging for CallPilot 100 and 150 enables the retrieval of voice and e-mail messages directly from the computer screen. Just click a message. If it's voice mail, it will play over the computer speaker or headset.E-mail works just as easily.

Technical Specifications:

• Requirements:
  • Norstar Voice Mail Release 3.0 (or higher).
  • Norstar Applications Module equipped with a minimum 16Mb of RAM, plus a Network Interface Card (NIC) supplied by the end-user or the Nortel Networks authorized Norstar distributor.
  • To transfer fax messages as data, Norstar Fax Messaging must be active in the system.
  • To transfer e-mail messages with attachments, the e-mail server must support attachments.
  • Compatible with Norstar systems running DR5 (Release 11.07 or higher) and all releases of Norstar Compact or Modular ICS software.
  • Fully compatible with Norstar Voice Mail Release 3.0 (or higher).
  • Fully compatible with Norstar Voice Mail Release 2.0 (or higher).
  • Compatible with Microsoft Exchange® and Microsoft Outlook®.
