CMS/CLASS is a unique set of features and protocols. One of the primary features is the delivery of of call-related (caller ID) information from a Central Office switch to a customer's premise which is deliverd between the first second ring.

One of the most popular CMS/CLASS features is Name and/or Number Delivery. Besides the obvious benefit of knowing who is calling before you pick up the phone, there are some significant marketing and sales benefits with this information.
