Leaving a message:
At the end of your personalized greeting, your callers hear a 'beep' tone. This is the signal to leave a message. Your service representative can tell you the maximum length of message your callers can record. To end their message session, callers simply hang up. If callers do not want to hang up, but want call answering to disconnect (in order to make a second credit card call, for example), they can press .
Accessing another number:
Callers can be transferred to another number, if this option is available, by pressing before or after leaving a message.

Bypassing your greeting:
Your caller can press to skip your greeting and go directly to recording a message.
This is convenient feature for someone who calls you frequently and does not need to hear your greeting each time.
Mailbox security:
Callers can not access your mailbox unless they know your password. This protects the security of your mailbox. |
