PLAYING YOUR MESSAGES

Your phone may have a message-waiting light to indicate new messages, or you may hear a special dial tone when you pick up the handset. When you play your messages, you hear new messages first, followed by stored messages..

Playing your messages:
To play your messages, first access your mailbox. Your messages may play automatically, if so go to step 2.
  1. Press One Key on the main menu to select message retrieval. Your new messages begin to play.

  2. After or during each message that plays, you can replay, keep, delete, or save it as new.
    To replay the message, press One Key
    To keep the message, press Two Key
    To delete the message, press Three Key
    To save it as new, press Four Key

  3. To return to the main menu,
    press Star Key

Note: Before you hang up, you can change a deleted message to a kept message by pressing Two Key during the message.





You hear the date and time when each message was received, followed by the message.

All the kept messages are stored in chronological order and can be played again.

Reviewing your messages:

At any time while playing a message you can perform these actions.
 To skip back, press Seven Key
 To pause, press Eight Key ;
 To continue, press Eight Key again.
 To skip forward, press Nine Key
 To decrease volume, press Five KeyFour Key
 To increase volume, press Five KeySix Key

 To play the message envelope,
 press Five KeyOne Key




Plays message 5 seconds earlier .

Playback stops.

Playback resumes.


Plays message 5 seconds later.

The message plays softer.


The message plays louder.

You hear the date and time when the message was received.

Redirecting messages to or from a submailbox:
  1. To redirect a message to or from
    a submailbox after playing the
    message or its environment,
    press Four Key then Six Key .

  2. Enter the mailbox or submailbox number to which you want to redirect the message, then
    press Pound Key .






The message will be moved to the new mailbox at the end of the current session.

Emptying your mailbox:

If your mailbox becomes full, your callers will be unable to leave a message.

  1. After accessing your mailbox,
    press One Keyon the main menu to start playing your messages as usual.

  2. Press Three Keyto delete each message as you come to it.


You will be asked to delete some messages. Call answering deletes kept messages on a regular basis, whether or not your mailbox is full.
