ACCESSING YOUR MAILBOX

You access your mailbox so that you can listen to your messages, record your greeting, or create a password. You can access your mailbox from your own phone, or from any other touch tone phone.

Access Numbers:
All Customers Except for Hellertown
  • 610-799-0025

For Hellertown Customers with Exchanges:
(484) 851, 852, 853, 856, 858, 859

From your own phone with no password:
If you have not yet assigned yourself a password, you can only access your mailbox from your own phone.
  1. Call the system access number.
    No mailbox number or password



You hear the mailbox summary

From your own phone with your password:
  1. Call the system access number.

  2. Enter your password.
  3. Press Pound Key.
You hear a prompt asking you to enter your password.


You hear the mailbox summary

From another phone with your password:
  1. Call the system access number
    from any touch tone phone.
    (If you are asked for a password,
    press Star Key , then proceed to step 2)

  2. Enter your mailbox number.
  3. Press Pound Key .

  4. Enter your password.
  5. Press Pound Key .



You hear a prompt asking you to enter your mailbox number.



You hear a prompt asking you to enter your password.


You hear the mailbox summary.

From another phone using your phone number:
  1. If this option is available on your system, call your own phone number from any touch tone phone.
  2. Press Pound Key .


  3. Enter your password.

  4. Press Pound Key .



You hear your own greeting. (At this point you can leave a message.

You hear a prompt asking you to enter your password.

You hear the mailbox summary.

Accessing a family or group submailbox:

To access a submailbox, you use the same system access number as the main mailbox, then your private password for your submailbox.

  1. Follow the steps for accessing a mailbox from your own phone or from any touch tone phone.
  2. When prompted for your password, enter your personal password for your submailbox.




You hear a prompt asking you to enter your password.

You hear the mailbox summary for your submailbox.

Unsuccessful mailbox access:
  • If you make a mistake while accessing your mailbox, you will hear a help prompt telling you what to do. After several unsuccessful attempts, you will be disconnected.
After to many incorrect mailbox attempts, the mailbox will be locked as a security precaution. Your callers can still leave messages while you are locked out. If your mailbox is locked, contact your service representative.

Unsuccessful mailbox access:
  1. When you are finished using call answering, you can hang up. If you do not want to hang up, but would like call answering to disconnect (so you can make a second call),
    press Star Key
    Star Key at the main menu.
